There’s something about a pool with an infinity-edge. If you’re not familiar with infinity-edges, try to imagine a pool where the water flows over one or more of its edges, creating a disappearing edge effect.
Our clients and homeowners in the pool market think it’s just so cool — so do we. And throughout the years, the interest and appeal of it have yet to fade.
At Neave Pools, we know a thing or two about designing and maintaining infinity-edge pools. Not to mention, we’ve also installed plenty of pools with this mesmerizing and luxurious feature.
Neave’s Top 3 Infinity Edge Swimming Pool Designs
Here’s a look at three infinity-edge projects we were proud to design and install.
Infinity Edge Project: Briarcliff Manor, NY
Pool size: 968 square feet with a 66-foot infinity edge
Where do we even begin with a project like this?
In addition to the double infinity-edge — pool and spa — this project features an unobstructed view of the landscape with glass walls and railings separating the pool and patio from the rest of the lawn.
Four LED fixtures — through fiber-optic cables (25 cables per fixture) — create a starfield with constellations on the pool floor with 100 points of light.
The main pool deck is travertine stone with a marble veneer for an extra high-end look. The stone steps lead up to a Brazilian teak platform deck for the hot tub.
Beyond the pool and spa, this space also includes a partially enclosed living area (with recessed screens that lower from the roof to enclose the area completely) bridges the gap between indoors and outdoors with a fireplace and SunBrite outdoor television.
Additional Neave divisions involved in this project include: Neave Masonry (outdoor kitchen, fireplace, travertine stone patio and landing), Neave Sports (putting green), Neave Lighting (LED patio lighting) and Neave Carpentry (Brazilian teak deck).

Infinity Edge Project: Mahopac, NY
Pool size: 830 square feet with a 14-foot slide
This project includes a full tile infinity edge, a silver travertine patio and natural dyed gray plaster. An oversized step entry into the pool doubles as a sun shelf for lounging in the water on a hot day. Oh, and did you notice that slide?
This freeform infinity-edge pool also features a fun 14-foot slide that drops into the pool. Natural stone steps lead up to the top of the slide from the travertine patio.
Additional Neave divisions involved in this project include: Neave Masonry (travertine patio and stone steps), Neave Landscaping (boulders and natural plantings), Neave Lighting (poolside accent lighting), Neave Carpentry (fencing).

Infinity Edge Project: Garrison, NY
Pool size: 625 square foot splash pool with a 50-foot lap lane and 75-foot infinity edge
This saltwater infinity pool with its salt water purification system features a 50-foot lap lane with tile markers and a turning wall. The infinity-edge basin has stone-veneer walls and a glass wall provides privacy and a windscreen off the splash pool.
The splash pool has a quartz aggregate plaster finish (dark pebble) with an integrated daybed and multiple color LED lighting options.
Surrounding the pool is a patio with steps and landings all made of cast concrete. The patio also features Ipe wood banding and a water circulation system for pool heating and patio cooling.
Additional Neave divisions involved in this project include: Neave Masonry (slab concrete patio, steps and landings) and Neave Lighting (LED lighting features)
